How to store homemade bread

Baking bread at home is one of the most satisfying things to do as a homemaker. But unfortunately bread you bake at home doesn’t come with packaging like store bought. Here is how I store my homemade bread to keep it tasting fresh as day 1.

Reusable bread bags

Before I discovered these reusable bread bags, I would recycle the bags that store bought bread came with. But after a while those become worn down. I found these bread bags on amazon and gave them a try and I’m so glad I did! They are a total game changer. They keep the bread fresh for up to a whole week on the counter or in the fridge! I personally keep my bread in the fridge (in these bread bags) because homemade bread can mold much faster than store bought because of its lack of preservatives. My Artisan sourdough bread (one loaf recipe) can fit perfectly in these. You could even fit two in one of these bags. By using these you are reducing plastic waste and being more sustainable.

This blog post isn’t sponsored, I just want to everyone to know about these bags!
